College started just yesterday and I already need around $1000 minimum. That includes a professional Canon digital camera ($700-ish), an external Hard Drive, random art supplies and laptop maintenance. So yeah, I'm in a bit of a pickle.

So summer vacations have come to an end and some of us need to get ready for college again >.<. Artwise, it was fairly productive. I learned a lot and I'd like to think I've become a better artist. I still have a looooooong ways to go if I want to get at the level of some of my favorite artists. I owe a lot of this to the DA community. Thanks guys!!

I'll try to spend more time studying every aspect of illustration and keep my growth as an artist steady. That doesn't mean I'll stop uploading art, but I'll try to make more time for some good ol' fashioned practice of the basics .

So, anyway. I wanted to make a Kiriban or something for this, but I'm kinda busy with other projects and stuff. Maybe for the 3k or 5k... and I'll definitely achieve the mark before this year ends!

Summer vacations have finally arrived! I'm free!! So yeah, I finally have time for myself. I hope I don't waste my vacations like last time ¬¬. Luckily, I've been feeling motivated and have been practicing art all these days. So expect a more constant influx of new art coming this way. I have a lot of ideas started; I just need to get off my ass and finish them.

Now for some news:

- I'm gonna try my luck at the Ballistic Publishings 'Call for Entries' for Exotique 5 [link] so wish me luck.

-I'm working with and in some concepts for a few ideas we've been having since January. I won't reveal anything yet but I'll make sure to keep you posted. I'm very excited with this project and hope it comes to fruition.

-I'm also planning with to open an art shop. So yes. I'm open for comissions. I'll leave the link to the shop when we're finished. Or you can contact me through here if you are interested.

Wow. Today I looked back into my gallery and... damn. I sucked so bad!!!!!!! I actually hated doing portraits and loved manga. Now it's the other way around. Ever since I got my tablet I have gotten better and better. And if you saw my first drawings and then my latest you would think I stole them or something, lol.

But I think it as to do with the lack of submissions, so the development is not as noticeable. I mean I have art from 2-3 years ago! I hope this vacations I can get my ass in gear and do some stuff. College is being a bitch.
